About Us

We're still building

FuturECar is an application to the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF), a federally funded program designed to turnkey postsecondary institutions 'Key strengths into world-leading capabilities'.

CFREF winners are institutions, networks and consortiums that align with the Government of Canada's Science, Technology and Innovation priorities (ST&I).

FuturECar aligns with the following priorities:

- Innovative & Resilient Communities

- Clean and Resource Rich Canada

- Technologically Advanced Canada

If awarded, FuturECar hopes to begin operation in May 2023.
